It’s really impossible to miss the disarming looks and godly physique of Kapuso hunk Derrick Monasterio.  But what most people don’t know is that aside from being an effective actor, he can sing very well. He has previously recorded some songs that were used for promotions of movies like “Tween Hearts,” “The Witness” and “My Kontrabida Girl.”  For someone who never intended to be in show business, Derrick has done well, having started out as a teen actor in several Kapuso TV series before gradually getting into more mature roles. Then, just recently, GMA Records released Derrick’s self-titled EP on digital and physical (CD) formats.  But having been a choir member in school, Derrick reveals that “Singing is my first love. When I was young, I’m part of the choir so singing talaga yung roots ko at ‘yun yung isa sa mga gusto kong ma-achieve. At isang malaking factor din talaga yung pagsali ko sa singing contests sa school para mahasa ako sa pagkanta.”  He further reveals,

Derrick Monasterio is on the cover of the latest issue of Garage magazine – and boy is he looking hot! He has been on the cover of the magazine a couple of times before but this is the first time that the Kapuso hunk goes solo on the cover.
