GMA ARTIST CENTER’S JAMES WRIGHT WOWS AUSSIES IN SOLD-OUT HOMECOMING CONCERT

GMA Artist Center’s James Wright recently delighted his fans in Australia with a well-received series of shows in Darwin and New South Wales.  James was joined by Filipina pop singer Sheryn Regis.  The show, titled “The Crystal Voice of Asia Live in Australia,” kicked off at the FAANT Community Center in Darwin last June 25, 2016. This was followed by two more shows, in Canterbury Hurlstone Park in Sydney last July 1 2016, and at The Services Group at Tamworth, New South Wales, one night after. The tour ended with a posh dinner and meet and greet with James and Sheryn Regis last July 3 at Club 55 Pabico, Mt Druitt, New South Wales, Australia.

At all the shows James, who is half Australia and half Filipino, wowed and wooed members of the audience from both sides of his heritage with his impressive voice. It was that same voice that earned him the moniker of “Prince of Teleserye Theme Songs,” after singing several theme songs that aired in GMA- the most notable ones being “Ikaw Yon,” the theme song of the drama series Carmela which starred Alden Richards and Marian Rivera, and “Kung Hindi Ikaw,” the theme song of “My Destiny´which starred Tom Rodriguez and Carla Abellana.

James also had several duets with Sheryn. He sang the songs “A Whole New World,” “How Deep Is Your Love,” and “Sway.” From start to finish James was the perfect piece of eye candy with his sweet lyrics and smooth pipes. His showmanship, and innately charming way he has with people, made him an absolute hit. With his first successful international tour, the demand has indeed grown for him and continues to grow with continuous international bookings and inquiries.
